Top 4 Rustic Wedding Trends for 2013!

I have noticed wedding trends for the last few years and for the future of 2013:

Rustic and Outdoor Weddings! First of all, outdoor weddings can be on the cheaper side yet it can

be so romantic and simple! I actually had an outdoor wedding with a covered bridge as our back drop. I absolutely loved that windy summer day in July! This trend is good for a lifetime I think.

At the wedding reception you can make your centerpieces mason jars with a lit candle inside. This is such a sweet look and gives off some light to the usual dark reception room. This is an easy thing to do while you are on a budget, you can buy one box of mason jars that have 12 jars under $20! That is a bride on a budget for sure!

Another romantic and rustic idea is to have your reception and or ceremony in a barn! It maybe hard to find in your area, but it pays off once you find one you like! I live near several covered bridges and barns but none were close enough to our reception venue. I went to a wedding recently that had their reception in a barn and their colors were blue, yellow and white with sunflowers. They had an old ladder that hung their name tags on it and a sign with their last name in wooden letters as a back drop at the wedding party table. Everything about it was sweet!

Another thing to add to your wedding, which I have seen personally as well, Cowboy boots for the wedding party! This is such an awesome idea and comfy too! It definitely gives it a country and rustic feel for sure that will tie in all your ideas!

One last idea for you to use is: Chalkboards! You can use this as a welcome sign for your guests, a sign to tell them where the bathroom is, or to display your new last name! It is so simple and quaint.
